In Memory of Wayne Johnson

It is with the deepest regret that I report the passing of Wayne Johnson from complications arising from cancer. Most of us traverse the River of Life leaving scarcely a ripple to record our journey. The same cannot be said about Wayne. He was the creator and host of the San Diego television talk show “World Peace Now.”

It was Wayne’s all consuming passion for the truth and his immense appetite for spiritual, political and esoteric knowledge which motivated him to march to a different drummer.

Sadly, the public appears to be unaware that were it not for a few courageous broadcasters and journalists such as Wayne Johnson, the last flickering flames of freedom already would have been extinguished throughout the world. During the past century, most mainstream broadcasters and journalists treasonously have elected to withhold political truths from the general public. In October, 1941, for instance, US Secretary of State Cordell Hull informed his journalist friend Joe Klein that Japanese aircraft would bomb Pearl Harbor December 7th, 1941. To his credit, Klein persuaded Associated Press to release the information via its wire service, yet the bought and paid for mainstream media treasonously elected to withhold the information from the general public. Had the news media of that era displayed the journalistic ethics and courage displayed by Wayne Johnson, America probably would have refrained from entering into the war and Roosevelt and his banker overlords would have faced treason charges for having engineered WW II. Similarly, news anchor Connie Chung was peremptorily fired for having publicly announced that the US government determined which items were to constitute the mainstream television evening news.

Realizing that violent political activism merely begets more violence, as was evidenced during the Russian Revolution, Wayne’s cherished goal was to see peace break out globally by means of politically informed public peaceful dissent. This is why Wayne devoted much time to thoroughly researching the topics for his talk show and never talked down to his guests, thus exemplifying the high degree of professionalism he always displayed during his interviews. In consequence, copies of his broadcasts have been posted on major international websites. In this manner, he has brought esoteric and political enlightenment to many millions of viewers.

Some people may claim that Wayne was too small a cog in an enormous wheel to have effected meaningful change, but this is a fallacy. A graphic example of how a minor member of the public can initiate political winds of change occurred in Iraq in 1948. Ever since oil was discovered in what is now Iraq, Britain, for three decades, had exerted political dominion over the Iraqi populace by perpetrating an aerial gas attack during the 1920’s, public hanging of dissenters and installation of puppet governments composed of hated Hashemites. Students began a protest march in 1948 when the British government drafted the Portsmouth Agreement in order to secure even more internal political clout. When the protesters reached Baghdad’s Ma’mun Bridge, they were halted by armored cars and machine guns posted at the far end of the bridge. No one attempted to proceed and the uprising appeared to have been quelled. Suddenly, a fifteen year old girl carrying a banner emerged from the protesters and commenced to walk across the bridge flanked by four friends. One by one, the four friends were cut down by the withering machine gun fire, yet the young patriot didn’t flinch and miraculously reached the far end of the bridge. Her heroism caused the other protesters to follow suit, causing the machine gunners to flee. That night, the Iraqi Prime Minister fled and was given sanctuary in Britain, all because a young girl had the courage to make a stand against tyranny.

Wayne was well aware that other broadcasters had been persecuted for attempting to bring peace to the world, which is an athema to the global weapons manufacturers, yet like the Iraqi girl, he never abandoned his chosen task, thus making him a true American patriot. A very gentle soul without a mean bone in his body, Wayne will be sorely missed by those of us who had the privilege of knowing him.

If there is such a thing as Judgment Day, I’m sure his Maker will say “Wayne, you did great.” Au revoir, my dear friend, may all the love and harmony that exists in the cosmos resonate with your soul for all of eternity.
